  • Dear Reader - Join an Email Book Club and every day, Monday-Friday, receive in your email a five-minute selection from a chapter of a book. A new book started every Monday.
  • Financial Ratings Series Online - Unlimited access to independent ratings and analyses on more than 43,000 insurance companies, banks, credit unions, stocks and mutual funds.
  • Find It Virginia - Access a variety of academic and popular databases relating to a multitude of topics such as biographies, business, health and wellness, and computers.  Also available as an app which includes easy mobile access to our catalog and your online account, OverDrive books and more! Download it for your iPhone, Android, Windows Phone or Kindle.
  • Heritage Quest will have new look beginning March 4. Research family history using census data, Revolutionary War records, family history books, and more.  
  • New version of Learning Express. New login required. Test preparation and skill building courses for all levels of students from elementary to graduate, including GED prep. Also find information on job searching and workplace skills, citizenship, and Spanish language sections.
  • Literati Public - Includes a host of resources, such as educational content for K-12 students and adults, informational videos and tutorials, and interactive discovery tools.
  • Mango is the fast, easy, and most effective way to learn to speak a foreign language! Over 60 languages offered including Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Russian and even Pirate! There is also an app for your Android or iPhone so you can learn on the go.
  • Newsbank - Search for newspaper articles from local to national papers, including the Daily News Record. 
  • NEW NoveList Plus - Resources to help you find that next great read or listen.

  • Profiles of Virginia - Provides detailed demographic and statistical data on every county and place within the state of Virginia.
  • Database of scholarly journal and popular magazine articles.  Excellent resource for doing research.
  • Virginia Navigator - Resource for information on health, aging, and disabilities in Virginia.
