Holiday Events at MRL Branches

There are lots of holiday events happening with Massanutten Regional Library.   
Grottoes Branch Library’s Book Club, the Brown Bag It group, will join Grottoes Ruritans with Christmas caroling at the Grand Caverns on Saturday, December 8 from 6-8 p.m.  This is a second-time endeavor for this group.
Elkton Community Library will hold an open house on Sunday, December 9, 2-4 pm. The Blue Ridge Garden Club of Elkton will be providing live arrangements. There will be musical entertainment, holiday origami demonstrations, and holiday stories by community readers. Door prizes will be provided by local merchants. And you won't want to miss out on Branch Manager Kim's special gift to the community.
On Saturday, December 15, 2 pm, Eastern Mennonite University Shenandoah Valley Preparatory Program will be at Massanutten Regional Library Main to present its annual holiday recital.  Mrs. Santa will also be on hand to read holiday stories and serve refreshments.
Santa Claus will visit Page Public Library on Monday, December 17, 10:30 a.m. Pictures with Santa are scheduled as well as holiday children stories. 
In addition to the special events, children’s story times at all locations will also focus on holiday activities and stories.  See MRL’s website www.mrlib.org for specific times and dates at your nearest MRL facility. 
Massanutten Regional Library will be closed December 24, 25, and January 1 all day for the holiday season.  MRL facilities will close at 12 noon on New Year’s Eve, December 31.
