Adult Programming for November

Massanutten Regional Library Downtown Harrisonburg has scheduled two Veterans Day Programs in honor of the holiday and two additional adult programs for the month of November.
World War II Naval Veteran Charles Sutton shares his story and military experience on Friday, November 9 at 1 pm in the main meeting room of the Main Branch. Sutton is the author of They Called Me Shep. 
Author of From Hitler Youth to American Soldier,World War II Army Veteran Herb Flemming shares his story and military experience on Monday, November 12 at 1 pm. This event will also occur in the meeting room of the Main Branch.
Retiring soon? Everence representatives will be on hand Thursday, November 15, 5:30-6:30 pm, to introduce participants to Medicare and Social Security. The basic parts of Medicare will be discuss--what’s covered, what’s not and when one needs to enroll in the two programs.
On Tuesday, November 27, from 6:30-7:30 pm, Alysia Davis of Smart Beginnings of the Shenandoah Valley will discuss pre-school nutrition.
The latter two programs will also be held in the Main Branch Meeting Room. All events are open to the public and free of charge.
